Free Forest School is a fun activity for both children and adults

  • Create temporary designated safe fire area and seating
  • Forage for dry standing kindling and firewood
  • Safety talks and fire stewardship
  • Demonstration in fire lighting with flint and steel
  • Participants Practice flint & steel in groups
  • Fire lighting demo with bow and drill
  • Participants Practice with bow and drills
  • Group Light Single Fire together
  • Gather around fire and Pop Popcorn in sieves over fire
  • Light a Kelly kettle for hot water for warm drinks

When – Saturday 24th June 2017  11.00am – 1.00pm

Participant’s maximum 16 Primary School age accompanied by a parent / adult (ratio 1 adult to 2 children)

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis
